Kiyavaa uses AI providers to answer tutor requests, create practice and mock materials, prepare revision plans, mark typed answers, and analyse uploaded answer images. Depending on the feature, relevant prompts, questions, answers and temporary images may be sent to providers including DeepSeek and OpenAI. We send only the information needed to complete the request. AI output and examiner-style feedback are stored where needed to provide history, progress and mistake-review features.

Kiyavaa is developed, created and operated by Furushaan Hussain and Jazlaan Mohamed as a partnership. They are jointly the data controllers responsible for your personal information collected through the Service. Kiyavaa is not a company or organisation; it is a platform run by two partners.

We may use collected information to:

• Legitimate interests — to secure, maintain and improve Kiyavaa, and to prevent fraud and abuse.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with trusted service providers that help us operate Kiyavaa, such as hosting, authentication, database, security, email, analytics and AI providers, including DeepSeek and OpenAI where applicable. These providers may only receive information reasonably necessary to provide their services. We may also share information with professional advisers or disclose it when required by law or necessary to protect Kiyavaa, our users or others.

When you make a purchase, payment is made by direct bank transfer. Your payment slip and the details you submit (such as your account email, name, plan, amount and transfer reference) are used only to verify your payment and activate your subscription. We do not collect or process card details, and no card-payment provider is involved. Kiyavaa does not use Paddle. Payment slips are stored securely and are only available to authorised administrators for verification and record-keeping.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. However, no online service can guarantee that information will be completely secure.

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it where appropriate. Uploaded handwritten-answer images are processed for the requested marking and are not permanently stored in the student's account. Payment and transaction records may be retained longer where reasonably needed for accounting, fraud prevention or legal compliance.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning your personal information, including the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, and where applicable to receive a copy of your data or withdraw consent. You may update profile and exam information within Kiyavaa. To make another privacy request or complain about our handling of your information, contact us below. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Kiyavaa is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable laws. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Kiyavaa without appropriate permission, please contact us so that we can review and take appropriate action.

Kiyavaa uses technology providers for hosting, authentication, email and AI processing, including DeepSeek and OpenAI where applicable. These services may process information according to their own privacy terms. We do not use Google Sign-In or a third-party card checkout provider.

Some of our service providers may process or store information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we will take appropriate measures for such transfers in accordance with applicable law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we may provide notice through Kiyavaa or by other reasonable means. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when this Privacy Policy was most recently changed.
